He LOVES New York

Our youngest son went with his youth church group on a mission trip to New York City. This was the first time he got to fly. He now loves flying. He described New York City as "AWESOME". He is ready to return there.

This is part of the group he was with. Altogether, this church took 17 kids and 4 adults. They all returned home. Nobody was lost for too long!

One evening, they went to a Broadway play.

This is Mr. and Mrs. Mallard. They live in Central Park.

He had better pictures of the Statue of Liberty, I just choose the wrong one.

A view of the buildings from a fairy boat.

From this, it looks more like a vacation than a mission trip. They packed a lot of activities into 10 days! Including delivering meals to homebound people, a tour/prayer walk of the city, helped with an after school daycare for children and much more. For more fun, they went to Coney Island and swam in the cold Atlantic Ocean. Don't forget, they rode the famous NYC Subway everywhere. One day, they walked 13 miles. They were introduced to different ethnic foods. He had Cuban, Mexican, Indian and Vietnamese. He enjoyed their soup called Pho. He also loved the New York Pizza.
