It is a long drive to Jackson Hole, Wyoming from Colorado Springs, Colorado. It took 9 hours. Usually, a 9 hour driving day is not long for us, but there is so much flat land in Wyoming and no traffic, it gets long.
The first picture shows some interesting formations on a mountain - in the middle of Wyoming somewhere!
Somewhere on this long stretch of road, we saw a Badger. He looked both ways before crossing the road. His mommy taught him well.
Sorry for the dust in the next picture. It was clean when we started but this was the dust from the race on Sunday. What I am showing is the temperature. This is nearly 7:00 p.m. and it is 52 chilly degrees! (my clock is set to Central Time Zone and this is Mountain Time Zone - so subtract an hour)
Finally, we are in mountains!
